Canvas Gradebook-Fall 2019
The look of the Canvas Grade book will be changing on Nov. 25, 2019.
The button for syncing grades to Skyward is the only major change.

Prior to Nov. 25, 2019,
To sync grades to Skyward from Canvas, you clicked on “Grades” on the left panel of your course.  Then you clicked on “Export” in the upper right corner of your screen. Finally you clicked “Sync Grades”.

Starting on Nov. 25, 2019 and thereafter,
To sync grades to Skyward from Canvas, you will click on “Grades” on the left panel of your course.  Then you will click on “Actions”, then select “Sync to Sync Grades”. A box will appear with all assignments listed.  Checkmark next to the assignments you want to sync, then click “Post Grades”

In addition to the change above, Canvas has added more filter and sort options for the Canvas gradebook, all of which are OPTIONAL. For more information on these upgrades, you can watch this Overview Video  or view the Canvas Guide.
