Distance Learning: Week 5

As we continue with our distance learning into Week 5, we have compiled the following resources for our elementary teachers.

Survey to help us support what you, the LCSC Teacher, need during this remote learning and for future e Learning lesson planning.
Click here to participate in this voluntary survey to provide feedback to the trainers on how we can further assist our teachers.

Attendance Update
**When students click on the school attendance button, that logs attendance for the day for administration and not on the teacher's page.  It does not update their access on the people tab.  This only updates when the students click on the teacher's course.  To make sure that your students are completing assignments, verify that they are submitting items as directed by you.  If you are not getting submissions or seeing activity on DreamBox or Pearson, that is when you should contact parents, not because of the activity on the people tab.

How to assign in Pearson and have the students submit their answers.
Amy Ramirez from Protsman has shared some videos on what she shared to her students with us to assist teachers who may be able to share with their students having difficulty accessing and completing Pearson Lessons.  Click here to access this information.

My Students can't access my PDF's or files.  How do I help them access them?

2.  How to change your Navigation settings to allow your students file access.

How to find and use Modules from Canvas.
Lindsay Jeffress from Bibich has shared some videos to help her fellow teachers use Modules from the Canvas Commons.  Click here to access this information.

Seesaw - How to use it and teachers have asked for ideas on how to make their PDF's interactive.  Well, Seesaw may be the answer for this.

Teachers will have to assign what week they'd like their students to work in for the week.  Student's screen looks like the following.
If you'd like to view Clever as your student, go to the Clever login and sign in as a student from your class using Clever login.  Student's email and password is their ID# (DIFFERENT FROM Gmail and Canvas Password).
