Optional Summer Training for 2021-2022 School Year

Welcome to the last week of school!  We know you are all ready for summer, but we wanted to make sure you feel prepared for next school year at your convenience.  We have listened to you and understand that we, like students, learn in different ways.  Because of that, we have developed Canvas Modules on Google, Canvas, and other products that you will use during the upcoming school year.  In addition to that, we will hold live sessions on August 4th and 5th following the schedule below.  On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, we will hold 10 minute Google Meet Sessions to better explain the process at 3 different times.

How to QUICKLY fix your computer when images and videos are downloading SLOWLY Or NOT LOADING AT ALL

Are you or your students experiencing slower than normal loading speeds on your computer?

Are you noticing that some images in Canvas or other programs are not loading like they usually do?

Are you having trouble getting Screencastify videos or YouTube videos to download?

BEFORE you call for help, always try clearing your browsing history, cookies, and cache.

To Clear Your Browsing History, Cookies, and Cache:

1. Go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your Google Chrome web browser.

2. Click on "History", then in the new window that appears, click on "History" again.

3. Click on "Clear Browsing Data" on the left.

4. Make sure all of the boxes are checked. Click on "Clear Data". Let this run; you will see a small wheel spin near the bottom of the screen. When the wheel stops spinning, the process is complete.

You should notice faster loading times and images and videos should load completely. If this does not solve your issue, then reach out to a Tech Trainer or your building Tech Person for more help.

Exciting Seesaw Update

Seesaw has a new Feature: "Progress"

Seesaw Progress will allow you to quickly view what assignments students are missing, which ones were started but not submitted (draft), and which are still awaiting teacher approval. Clicking on a student name will generate a report that can be easily copied to a parent email, which will include links to each missing  Seesaw assignment.
Seesaw Progress is now a button on the right side of your Seesaw Teacher screen. It has replaced the former "Skills" button. Here is a breakdown of how this tool has changed:

This 5 minute video walks you through ALL of the new components
 within the Seesaw Progress tool.

Here is a key to the colors you see when you view your Seesaw class Progress tool:
