Beanstack

Beanstack is a program LC is implementing to encourage both students and staff to become life-long readers who LOVE what they read!

ALL STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND STAFF CAN ACCESS
 BEANSTACK THROUGH CLEVER!

Students:

Students can track the minutes they read each day to earn digital badges as well as meet district and building-set challenges.
Students can read and track specific book titles to meet district and building-set challenges as well.

Click the link below to watch how STUDENTS can track their own minutes or book titles.
Students will watch this same tutorial and be trained on how to log minutes/titles during their library (or in some cases computer lab) times this week.

Teachers:

Teachers have the option to track minutes or book titles for the entire class at once. You may want to do this when students have a silent read time as a whole class or when you read aloud to your whole class at once.

In addition, teachers have the option to track minutes for specific students or groups of students. For example, if your tutoring group is reading a novel together, you have the option to track the title or the minutes for that group of students.

*Remember, tracking for the class is optional, as the students will be able to track the title or minutes for themselves after they have completed the training in library (or in some cases computer) class.

Click the link below to watch how TEACHERS can track minutes or book titles for a select group of students or the entire class at once.

There's an App for that!

Students can log into the app by using their student ID# as a username and password of their birthday (mmddyy).

Staff can log into the app by using their email address as the username and password: beanstackreads

*Note: Once you download the app, be sure to search YOUR school's name. The image below is just an example.

  1. I'd like to download the app on my phone to simplify logging from home. User name is my e-mail, but I don't know where to view or set my password.
